Current behavior
The app retains documents indefinitely by default. Owners can configure minimum retention for new uploads. Completed document retention can be extended, and legal holds can be recorded.
What expiry means
A signing link expiring does not delete the underlying document. A retention date is not an automatic deletion date. The current implementation has no automatic purge or document deletion endpoint.
Your own records
Export original and completed documents and their supporting evidence for your own records. Application retention settings do not determine the retention period that applies to every customer or agreement.
