CONFIDENCE IN THE DETAILS

A signature.
And the story behind it.

Understand how access, consent, and signing records fit together.

01

Verify access to the inbox.

Signers verify the designated email before reviewing and signing. This confirms access to that inbox; it does not independently establish legal identity.

02

Make consent explicit.

Signing includes an explicit consent step. Signing records capture verification and consent events alongside timestamps.

03

Keep the evidence together.

Original and completed document hashes, audit events, and cryptographically signed evidence help support integrity checks.

04

Know what the record means.

Signing evidence is not a certificate-backed PDF signature or a trusted timestamp authority. Suitability depends on your agreement and requirements.

05

Retain with intention.

Documents are retained indefinitely by default in the current app. Retention settings and holds do not create an automatic deletion process.

06

Keep your own copy.

Export completed documents and supporting records. Your recordkeeping obligations may extend beyond use of the service.

Clear policies matter, too.
